2010 World Series of Poker Schedule Announced

The schedule for next year's World Series of Poker has been announced by the tournament's organisers, Harrah Entertainment Inc.

The world famous poker event will shuffle up and deal on May 27th 2010, with the 'final nine' being decided around about the evening of July 17th 2010 - all exclusivly held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas.

In what will be the 41st running of the offline poker tournament, this year will see 57 different poker events, with only one day scheduled as a rest day - July 4th.

The first event will be the $50,000 buy-in Players Championship, with the World Series of Poker beginning on July 5th.

Once the remaining nine finalists have been found, play will be halted for the third consecutive year before picking up again from November 6th in front of a live audience and special primetime coverage from ESPN.
