32Red Casino Impresses The City

One of the best UK casinos online today announced their trading update for the first six months of the year to the City, with impressive results.

Gibraltar based online casinos site 32Red, named by Casino Geezer as their best UK casino for the past fours years, have announced Gross Win figures of £19m for the first six months of the year - up some 15% compared to the same period last year.

Highlights include 32Red Casino itself, which has enjoyed a YoY increase of some 14% in revenues, amounting to just over £17.4m.

These figures are due in no small part to the company's philosophy of great customer service - not only has 32Red won numerous awards on online casino reviews sites, but they also scooped the inaugural 'etruvian Customer Service Quality Audit' earlier this year.

Such strategy has meant that active customers within the online casino came in ahead of 2012, by some 34% - to just over 42,000 customers.

The good news from the casino was tempered ever so slightly by news of their Italian online casino, 32Red.it - with revenues described as soft at just £0.5m, something CEO Ed Ware was keen to point out was a symptom for all operators in the Italian casinos space...

'As with a lot of other new entrants to the Italian market, we are finding progress slower than expected. However, we remain confident that this will develop into an important and lucrative territory for 32Red'.

'We are pleased with another strong performance from 32Red. We have maintained our clear focus on providing a high quality experience for our players which is underlined by our trading performance'.

'It is also supported by the results from the recent Mystery Shopper examination undertaken by etruvian across the industry; the survey identified the 32Red customer experience as the very best in the market place'.

The City will also be pleased with the fact that CPA (cost per acquisition) for the casino came down once again, to £159 per player - down from £166 for the same period last year.

As well as concentrating on delivering the best customer service for an online casinos site, the 32Red Directors have also been busy in the dock for the past four years, battling with William Hill over their use of the 32 brand for casinos.

Following a High Court decision earlier this year, 32Red Casino finally won their case of trade mark infringement, meaning a tidy £1.25m will be swelling the coffers shortly.
