Best UK Bingo Rooms Laugh Off Council Directive

Some of the best uk bingo rooms were laughing in both disbelief and incredubility this week, as they heard about a local council in the UK that demanded that old school bingo names were to be banned.

A man who regularly called the bingo numbers at a local charity bingo game was told to stop using old bingo favourites such as 'two fat ladies 88', 'legs 11' and 'kelly's eye 1' because some council officials feared some players might take offence and sue.

The man in question, a Mr Sayers, said an official warned that he should stop, as they feared the organisation could be open to complaints...

'The concern was that if there might be two large ladies in the audience when I said 'two fat ladies 88' or someone might think I was looking at their legs when I said 'legs 11'

A spokes person for the council in question defended their views...

'We have to be politically correct.'

Legs eleven, two fat ladies and kelly's eye number one are just some bingo phrases that have been used in some of the best uk bingo halls for years.
