Betfair Up For The Craic

One of the biggest online betting companies in the UK has confirmed a long time media rumour - that it will soon be popping across the Irish Sea to set up shop.

Hammersmith-based and newly IPO'd Betfair has announced that it will move some of it's operation to the Emerald Isle, with a new data centre in the capital, as well as some Customer Service operations.

It is believed that the move will see the creation of over 100 new jobs. Betfair recently floated on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: Bet) to great acclaim, over-subscribing three fold upon launch.
