Betfred Gets The Acting Bug

One of the leading online betting sites and best uk casinos sites has got in on the advertising bug, by launching their own set of TV ads.

Warrington based bookie BetFred has created a six-figure advertising campaign aimed specifically at boosting his mobile betting business - thanks to the Manchester agency Editz.

The advert, featuring the wily Fred Done, targets mobile betting users and more specifically their betting in running product - ideal for mobiles, as shown recently by iphone betting apps from Bwin and Paddy Power.

A spokesman for the company said of the new adverts...

'As this is our first foray into TV it was important we got it right. What better was of delivering our message than the man himself, Fred Done. After all he's still in every day, driving the BetFred Business. We have recently launched our first Android app, so it is definitely a growth area for us, showing people how you can bet on the move.'

The ad will be shown throughout sporting coverage on both ESPN and Sky during December and January.
