A recent trend in the gaming industry has been backed for greatness in the new year, as some of the best uk casinos and betting sites scramble to launch betting apps for the iPad.

The study on iPad usage comes from Gartner Group, who predict that in 2010, some nineteen million tablets will be sold - with another 40 million due to fly off the shelves in 2011.
