Bodog Joins the Tiger Hunt

One of the biggest names in online casinos and sportsbooks has joined in the hunt to capture the signing of the world's most iconic and wealthiest sportsmen - Tiger Woods.

Calvin Ayer's Bodog Casino brand has tabled an offer to sponsor the world's number one golfer for an eye watering $100m dollars, for a five year deal, in an improved offer following initial bids back in January and March of this year.

The deal from Bodog, owned by the outgoing Ayer, is said to include what Bodog describe as a 'No Moral Judgement' clause - basically meaning Tiger can be caught doing whatever he likes - the online casino doesn't care!

Speaking to the UK's Daily Mail website, Calvin Ayer said of the deal...

'BodogBrand feel they are the only ones who can extend a deal that will be totally unaffected by any non-golf related activity. We actively encourage and endorse employees and customers alike to play hard'.

The offer to sponsor Woods comes on the back of fellow bookie and one of the best uk casinos Paddy Power, who put in a cheeky bid of $75m back in March.
