Bookie Winner in Shirt Deal

One of the leading European online bookies are feeling very smug this week, after capturing a deal that sees them sponsor one of the richest and most successful football clubs in the world.

Austrian based betting giant Bwin, responsible for some of the best uk casinos and poker rooms in the world, has put pen to paper with Manchester United, in a deal that will allow Bwin to be named as the club's offical sports betting company for the next three seasons.

A spokesman for Bwin said of their latest big money deal...

'As Europe's leading online sports betting company, football is fundamental to our long-term success. Man Utd has over half a billion followers outside of Europe, providing us with a great opportunity.'

Bwin currently sponsor a number of teams in Europe as official club sponsors, not least Bayern Munich in Germany and of course, Real Madrid who broke every record going by winning La Liga last season.
