Brag Betting App Punches Above Weight

A brand new social betting app has been launched in Ireland this week, to coincide with the popular Punchestown Festival, which is claimed to make betting with your mates even better.

New social betting app for iPhone, BragBet.com have announced their partnership with the Punchestown Racecourse, which will see the Dublin based social betting app company have two races named after them later this month.

The new iPhone betting app will allow customers to pool their cash into a kitty amongst friends, with one customer being the 'captain' for the week - and thus deciding what the bet of the week may be - all through the swish of your smartphone.

The new BragBet.com app for iPhone will allow friends to continue the custom of kittying up amongst your mates, for big events such as the Grand National, the Cup Final - or indeed race by race such as the Punchestown Festival, which takes place in two weeks time.

A spokesman for BragBet.com said of the new iPhone betting app...

'BragBet brings on-line what groups of guys have been enjoying at race meetings and sporting events for years. It’s a more social and fun way of betting, instead of betting on your own.'

'BragBet lets groups of friends make suggestions and pool opinions and knowledge. We believe it’s more fun with your mates’ money on it!'

A spokesman for Punchestown was equally as excited about this new bet app...

'Punters come to Punchestown to enjoy a great day out racing with their friends and BragBet allows racegoers to enjoy that experience with their friends all of the time.'

BragBet are based in Ireland's very own Silicon Valley - or Dock, as it is known - and they are pitching themselves against bookie neighbours Boylesports and Paddy Power.

As well as betting, the new iPhone betting app allows banter between friends with texts and live tweets.
