England Handed Favourable World Cup Draw

The draw for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa has taken place and England have escaped with a favourable group.

The eighth seeded team can now rest assured that they will not face the group of death that they had feared, instead it is Algeria, Slovenia and the USA that await England, who where all drawn in Group C.

Some of the best uk bookies will be racing to be the first to supply England v Algeria odds, England v USA odds and England v Slovenia odds, with England's first game due to be an evening kick off on Saturday 12th June, in Rustenberg.

In the other groups, Spain were handed the easiest group with games against the Swiss, Honduras and Chile, whilst Germany and Brazil were in the 'Groups Of Death' having drawn Denmark, Japan and Cameroon - and N Korea, Ivoy Coast and Portugal - respectively.
