European World Series of Poker Welcomes New Event

In just over a month's time will see the creme de la creme of online poker heading for Cannes, France for the 2012 European World Series of Poker - and this year will see a brand new event specially for those with nerves of steel.

The World Series of Poker will see a brand new $50,000 buy-in re-entry No Limit Hold 'Em event that organisers will hope draw in the very best in online poker.

The new event is just one of 69 poker events in total, culminating in the $10,000 buy-in WSOPE main event which begins at the end of September.

A spokesman for the WSOPE said of the new event...

'We can't wait to get back to Cannes for the European World Series of Poker, where he stars of online poker come to shone. We truly believe that 2012 is the year we accomplish our goal to make WSOPE the richest and most prestigious event on the European calendar.

Previous winners of the WSOPE include Annette Oberstad, John Juanda and Elio Fox.
