French Firm to Launch UK Sportsbook

The huge French online and land based gambling group, Partouche, has announced the imminent launch of an online sportsbook in the UK, just time for the start of Euro 2008.
 
Heading up the venture will be ex Man Utd legend, Eric Cantona who will be seen on various marketing initiatives, as well as the new bookie website which has yet to be named.
 
The new site will also carry links to their other new venture - an online poker room, which will use the Red Planet poker platform.
