Gamesys Lets Intertain Entertain Them

The spending spree sees no signs of abating at one online casinos super company this week, as yet another MA deal was put to bed.

Canadian super-casino company Intertain have been at it again, this time snapping up the company behind the Barbara Windsor fronted gaming site, Jackpot Joy.

Jackpot Joy is the business to customer arm of Gamesys, which also included the likes of Jackpot Joy in Sweden, StarSpins and Botemania.

The takeover will see Intertain add these to the burgeoning war chest of online casino and gaming brands - a deal that will see all player data, IPs and marketing assets come to Intertain - with a whopping £425M going the other way, as well as bonus payments, cash out payments and the like.

The deal will also see Gamesys' top man join the board of Intertain, as well as Gamesys themselves becoming a platform services and games provider for the next 10 years, servicing the new subsidiary company that Intertain has set up specially for the deal.

A spokesman for Gamesys said of the deal...

'Gamesys and Intertain are a perfect match. From our earliest discussions we shared their vision which we know is critical to a successful long-term partnership. This is a great deal for Intertain and Gamesys, our shareholders, our employees and our players.'

This latest deal from Intertain comes hot on the heels of other mega money deals, including the likes of Costa Bingo, VIP Casino and InterCasino all being snaffled up.

Since being bought out, InterCasino has stepped up again to the UK casinos plate, embarking on a rebrand and redesign of their offer, as well as a key relaunch - resulting in many positive reviews of the company, including Casino Geezer who have made the online casino one of the favourite online casinos in the UK.
