Ladbrokes Lay Logan for Fifty Big Ones

On the eve of the biggest clash in the 2010 World Cup so far, a doting father has put faith in his son making the England team in time for the 2030 World Cup - by betting on it.

The boy in question is only three years of age, but the Bolton based family has stuck £50 on him making a 23 man squad, with leading uk bookie and one of the best uk casinos, Ladbrokes - at odds of 1000/1.

William Hill famously love these kinds of bets but it is Ladbrokes who have stepped up to take on the Bolton fanatical father. The £50 bet is apparently the biggest allowable bet from the Rayners Lane based company, and with inflation and the no doubt mega wages the youngster would be on if he was good enough to pay for England, it is more for show than dough.

Speaking about the wager, toddler Logan said of playing for England...

'I love football. I want to be a footballer and play for England.'

And his Dad was equally as excited...

'I'm sure he used to kick his dummy about...It's all day and all night. He wakes up with a football and he goes to bed with a football.'
