With the start of the new football season kicking off around the country later on this afternoon, it is one of the best online casinos and bookmakers whom have stepped up to the plate with their new advertising campaign - The Oddsfather.

Harrow based betting business Ladbrokes have drafted in yet again the two main men in recent advertising campaigns, Tiziano Crudeli and everyone's favourite idiot football punter, Chris Kamara, in a new mobile betting campaign based loosely around The Godfather series of films.

The first of the TV ads aired yesterday (Friday 2nd August) showing Crudeli stroking his pet hedgehog, whilst minion Kamara talks to two punters, telling them of the mobile betting offer, should they wish to take it up - which of course, they would love to.

The ad, created by London agency SapientNitro, is the first of five TV ads to hit our screens in the coming weeks, culminating in and around the start of the Premier League season, which starts in two weeks time.

Each ad will concentrate on something different, including betting in running odds, as well as mobile casinos, online casinos and the new Ladbrokes Vegas tab.

A spokesman for the betting company said of the new ads...

Ladbrokes have in recent years being playing catch-up with both Bet365 and William Hill, but they have galvanised their online casinos slots games with high profile deals with both Playtech and Net Ent.
