Paddy Power Betting On Tory Win

There's still a few days to go until the UK public make their decision in the great Election race - but that hasn't stopped one online betting company paying out on the Tories already.

King of the PR spin and the name behind one of the best uk casinos and sports books online, Paddy Power has decided to pay out on Conservative leader David Cameron three days early, after the latest opinion poll and sheer weight of money put his party well ahead of the rest.

To make their point, the guys at Paddy Power decided to rub current PM Gordon Brown's nose in it, by shining a massive picture of a beaming David Cameron across the Houses of Parliament, with the slogan 'We've Paid Out!'

After three gripping TV election debates, it has arguably been the Lib Dem's Nick Clegg who has come out the best, but the ever confident David Cameron has done no harm to his already popular campaign - with the Tories a unbelievable 16/1 ON getting the most seats come Thursday evening.

A spokesman for Paddy Power said of their latest PR stunt...

'Dave is heading for Downing Street and punters can come and collect their cash. If money talks then what we have seen in the last few days tells us the Conservatives are going to win the Election. The only question remaining is whether they secure enough seats for the all important majority – and the betting is starting to suggest they can.'

Paddy Power are no shrinking violets when it comes to PR, following their Hollywood-esque sign at Cheltenham earlier this, as well as a sign warning Thierry Henry not to enter Ireland, following his dubious hand-ball goal in the recent World Cup Play-Off finals.
