Party Gaming To Power PMU Poker

The B2B arm of one of the best uk casinos and poker rooms has announced another huge deal with a European state owned monopoly.

Online Poker giant Party Gaming has revealed a deal has been done with the massive French bookmaker PMU to supply them with an online poker product ready for when the French market opens up later this year.

Party Gaming, who run the award winning gaming sites Party Casino and Party Poker, will create a fully PMU branded product, to accompany their soon to be online sportsbook. Using Party Poker's French poker network for liquidity, the new poker site will go live when the French government grant new eGaming licenses to the PMU - which is thought to be June 1st.

A spokesman for Party Gaming said of the deal...

'Today's agreement with PMU is consistent with our stated strategy of securing a small number of high value partners in regulated markets. PMU is widely recognized as one of Europe's leading betting businesses and we look forward to providing them with a world class poker service.'

PMU, who in 2009 enjoyed turnover of over €9bn, with a gross profit of over €650m recently announced a deal with leading Irish bookies Paddy Power, to supply the French company with risk management and pricing for their soon to be online sportsbook.
