Tab Launches Betting App for iPhone

The latest online betting company to launch their new betting apps for iphone has made their announcement from down-under.

Australian betting company Tabcorp (known locally as The Tab) is just the lastest to launch their betting app, available from Apple's iTunes store. Customers wishing to download it should search for 'TAB Sportsbet'.

The Tab's betting app follows closely behind Betfair as being one of the first available and approved by the US software giant. It means that any one of the 300,000 active players can now access Tote style betting on the iPhone at their mobile website tab.mobi, betting into the New South Wales and Victorian Tab Tote pools.

As well as the betting pools, customers can view the weather and track information for every racecourse in the country, as well as silks, jockey information and recent form. Customers can also set up alerts to tell then when a particular jockey or horse is in action.

In recent days Betfair became the first betting company to have a betting app for iPhone approved by Apple, allowing customers to bet on it's award winning betting exchange at the touch of their screen.
