One of the world's best online poker rooms has announced they are considering the introduction of a feature which would allow poker players to re-run hands twice.
UK online poker room Pokerstars are currently testing the feature, dubbed 'Run It Twice' which would allow heads-up poker players to authorise a hand of texas hold 'em to be dealt twice, to see what the other outcome would be.
The feature, which has been on offer elsewhere for many years under many different guises, is a popular feature amongst big money poker players who have gone all-in on a hand. The feature relies on the heads-up pair being all-in pre-River and the pot is won if a player wins both hands - or split if each player wins each hand. The feature means that volatility for all-in calls is reduced.
A spokesman for the online poker outfit said of the development...
'We expect a prototype to be available soon for testing by our players and (depending on testing) it might be released soon to main clients or stay on test longer'.
Pokerstars hit the headlines big style this month, having captured a deal that would see them buy the stricken Full Tilt Poker; as well as being the first online poker site to have dealt over 85 billions hands to their poker customers.
