UK Bookie Signs Major Racing Deal

One of the best uk casinos and sportsbooks has announced a major sponsorship deal that sees them grace the stage at Prestbury Park main event for the next five years - as well as Haydock and Newcastle.

Gibraltar based uk bookie Stan James has stepped up to the plate to become the new sponsor of the Cheltenham Champion Hurdle - as well as the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle, the International meeting at Cheltenham and the Champion Hurdle trial at Haydock.

The deal is all part of the British Racing Boards new initiative 'Racing For Change' - their effort to modernise the game and to make it more popular amongst the British public.

A spokesman for Stan James said of the new deal...

We have always looked to support racing through key events and high-profile sponsorships so we are delighted to be backing the Stan James Champion Hurdle, the biggest and most valuable hurdle race of the entire season.'

The 2010 Cheltenham Champion Hurdle was won by Tony McCoy on Binocular.
