Victor In Comedy Gold TV Ad

The start of the Premier League season has meant a busy time for online and mobile betting marketers up and down the land as new TV ads grace the UK's football programmes.

Gibraltar based bookie Victor Chandler has come up with their latest TV ad, featuring long time collaborator Paul Kaye, whom is best known for his celebrity interviewer, Dennis Pennis.

The new look ad for BetVictor is one in a series of three, promoting BetVictor's football prices, sees Kaye take up his role of Maurice; an annoying cockney geezer who just wants the best odds from Victor himself - with the premise being that there is no need to ask face-to-face - simply go to BetVictor's betting site or mobile betting site.

Skydiving from a plane onto a high speed train, Maurice finally catches up with Victor - only for the betting magnate to explain once again that the latest odds are online or on mobile.

A spokesman for the betting company said that making the ads were a lot of fun...

'There was a lot of laughing on the film set and we hope this humour cuts through when the adverts are launched to the mainstream audience.'

We have the opportunity to promote live odds for the first time with this new round of TV ads and so the aim was to produce something funny and memorable that will get across the main message of best prices and value to our target audience.'

Future TV ads in the series will concentrate on mobile betting, as well as bet in play odds, where prices change as the game progresses.
