William Hill Launches Android Betting App

One of the biggest online betting sites and online casinos has announced the launch of a new mobile product - this time an android betting app.

Gibraltar licensed William Hill has launched the Android app for it's millions of customers, allowing them to log onto their accounts via an Android supported phone - so that they can bet on their mobile on thousands of pre-match and betting in running events.

The new betting app for Android is free to download for all customers - as long as their phone has the 2.2 version of Android on their phone.

A spokesman for William Hill said of it's latest mobile technology release...

'Our new optimised Android apps are big additions to our mobile offering. Some of our competitors have rushed to embrace iPhone but have neglected the many customers who have embraced Android.'

William Hill have been at the fore-front of mobile betting technology, having had a java based mobile application for many years. They were also recently in the news by launching their very own iPhone betting app in conjunction with the Racing Post, to critical and customer acclaim.
